Paul Rudd forgets to pay his bar tab after popping into Dublin pub for a singalong

When he stopped by a Dublin pub for a drink and a folk band, Hollywood star Paul Rudd surprised the locals.

The 55-year-old Clueless star, in town for a movie shoot, joined Hermitage and a few regulars at the Olympia pub on Friday, casually dressed in grey tracksuit bottoms, a khaki hoodie, and a tan utility jacket.

The band made an Instagram video of Paul sipping a small glass of poiten, a traditional Irish spirit, before sharing the unplanned visit. He smiles as he joins the band in playing the Scottish folk song The Parting Glass while raising his glass to the band.

However, it seems Paul got so caught up in the moment that he left without paying, still owing the band €15. In the post’s title, Heroine made fun of their unanticipated encounter with Paul. They stated, “We finished our sound check at the Olympia yesterday and headed home for a quiet pint of Guinness and a poiten chaser.” Go up and say hello to Paul Rudd if you see him wearing a Hermitage Green t-shirt while he’s walking around Dublin. He’s a lovely person. And Paul, you forgot to pay us 15 euro for it, if you’re reading this.

Paul Rudd was given the Sexiest Man Alive award in 2021, but Jennifer Aniston seems to have held that position for a while. The two initially met while filming The Object of My Affection in 1998, and they are said to have started dating the year afterward. Jennifer congratulated her long-time friend on Instagram by posting a video of the Ant-Man actor and exclaiming gratitude for his well-deserved award.

She wrote: “This makes me so happy]laughing emoji] We’ve ALWAYS known this, but Paul Rudd is officially @people’s Sexiest Man Alive]heart eyes emoji] Alive”! Jennifer made a playful jab at her past co-star’s youthful looks, saying: “You don’t age, which is weird. But we still love you]smiling emoji with hearts]”.

Paul and Jennifer appeared as a couple in the 2012 film Wanderlust. When asked if it felt strange to kiss on screen, Jen joked, “Nah. I’ve kissed him for years”, while Paul responded, “We’ve made out for decades”. The pair also starred together on Friends, where Paul played Mike Hannigan, the husband of Lisa Kudrow’s character, Phoebe Buffay.

Aside from his roles in Friends, Clueless, and Wanderlust, Paul is best known for portraying Scott Lang in the Ant-Man series. He has appeared in Parks and Recreation and received a Golden Globe nomination for Living with Yourself (2019), as well as Anchorman (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), and I Love You, Man (2009). His work has earned numerous accolades, including CinemaCon’s Male Star of the Year award in 2015.
