Tyrell Malacia, a defender for Manchester United, has signed for PSV Eindhoven on loan until the end of the season.

Malacia, 25, returned to action for the Premier League club in November following 17 months out with injury issues.

In July 2022, the Netherlands international signed a four-year deal with United from Feyenoord for £13 million.

Malacia’s move comes after Manchester United signed Denmark wing-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce on a five-and-a-half-year deal on Sunday.

Since returning from two lots of knee surgery on November 28th, Malacia has only been allowed to play eight games for United this season.

He has played for Old Trafford 47 times, marking Erik Ten Hag’s first newcomer to the organization.

Early in the transfer window of January, negotiations with Portuguese club Benfica over a loan deal for Malacia ended.
