Veterans and wartime heroes will reflect on their experiences of VE Day throughout the evening. The concert, which will air on BBC One and iPlayer, will be broadcast from Horse Guards Parade in London.

Zoe described her new gig as “truly honoured to play a small role in the celebrations of such a moment” according to the BBC. Johnny Ball, my dear Dad, was 6 years old on Veterans Day, and he has a lot of fond memories.

Our families, our country, and our great grandparents all experienced a lot. We must always remember the bravery and sacrifices made by so many for our freedom, and this night will feature some incredible acts.

Scott Mills, a close friend of Zoe, took over the hosting duties for her early morning breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 earlier this year. However, she will make a new Saturday show on Radio 2 that airs between 1 and 3 p.m. in May, playing some of her favorite songs and promising to make her viewers laugh out loud.

She acknowledged that the entire team had already shed some tears when she introduced the program and that she had been in tears for her final farewell. This morning, we’re not quite sure what to do with ourselves, do we? I’ve entered, but I suddenly find it difficult to press the button.

Zoe continued, “We’re all acting as though we’re going to be okay, that the emotion is not reaching us, but it’s definitely getting to us.” Hold on tight, then! However, Richie, you made me squirm after reading so many kind comments yesterday! She continued, “I’ve already had a little cry on Patrick! However, today will be a lot of fun. We’re going to get through as many messages from the listeners as possible while playing some of my favorite records today, both Christmassy and non-Christmassy ones.
