Temperatures are due to be dropping, and we’ve found where to shop Zara McDermott’s favourite electric blanket with £12 off for a limited time
With a chilly spell due, now is the perfect time to get a heated blanket (if you haven’t already), and Zara McDermott’s current go-to favourite is on offer with £12 off. Sharing a few of her favourite buys right now with her followers, Zara said the Beurer HD 75 Nordic Electric Blanket “gets so warm and toasty”, and despite not enjoying the winter, she loves to get this electric blanket out.
Normally priced at £69.99, this cosy blanket is now £57.99 in a flash sale on Amazon. The blanket features six different temperature settings that can be manually tweaked with a handheld switch.
The switch can also be removed, allowing the blanket to be easily washed when needed.
Not to mention, if you fall asleep and forget to switch it off, it will do so automatically after three hours, so you can snuggle in peace knowing the blanket will turn off safely.

Zara isn’t the only fan of this blanket. It boasts hundreds of 5-star reviews on Amazon for its cosy feel and different heat settings.
One shopper wrote, “I bought this on Amazon last year for winter and continue to use it now. I use it to lie on when watching TV, and it’s easy to fall asleep as it’s so cosy. It has a three hour timer shutoff so it doesn’t run endlessly if you fall asleep and forget to turn it off.”A second added, “This is great. The fluffy fabric is good quality, the blanket heats well, it is simple to use. Just set the slider to the heat you want and turn it on. After three hours it turns itself off. No complex controllers to try to remember, just simple and effective. Great! The slider goes from 1 to 6, and I find 4 is perfect. Some heated blankets are quite weak and the hottest setting is required, but this blanket seems a little more powerful than some others, so you probably won’t need to set it to 6.”
Not everyone was as impressed, however. One reviewer commented, “As a blanket this is really cosy to cuddle up with on the sofa. It’s a nice size and feels so soft against my skin. My main issue with is that even on the highest heat setting, it doesn’t get very warm. It’s only on the highest heat setting that it feels remotely warm.”
iI you want something similar for a little less of an upfront cost, Lakeland’s StaySnug Velvety Taupe Heated Throw is now £29.99 in an early Black Friday sale, and has great shopper reviews.
