Although this is her first Glastonbury Festival, some fans believe that Kara McDermott is evoking the “wrong vibe” as one commentator said, “This ain’t Coachella.”
Zara McDermott certainly looks like she’s enjoying her first ever Glastonbury. The 28-year-old is at the festival with new boyfriend Louis Tomlinson.
The Love Island and Made In Chelsea star turned BBC documentary maker posed for a series of snaps showing her and One Direction’s Louis, 33, were there with Louis’ influencer sister Lottie, 26, and her fiance Lewis Burton.
But snaps posted to her own Instagram account got a bit of backlash from fans who said they were ‘the opposite of what Glastonbury is about’.
In the snaps, Zara sat on the floor while sporting an Adidas tracksuit and matching trainers that appeared to be more of a festival photo. The post was called “First Glasto,” according to her caption.
One follower questioned, “Are you sitting in a footpath?” Another claimed that “Glastonbury is about the opposite of what it is about.” Sorry for the “wrong vibe” Zara.
A third person agreed, saying, “I have actual second hand embarrassment,” while she claimed, “she has absolutely no idea, she has the same.” a fourth person said, “This isn’t Coachella.”

In other snaps, it looked like Zara’s relationship with Louis – who she started dating earlier this year just weeks after her split from boyfriend of five years Sam Thompson – is definitely hotting up.
She has now met his family and posed for photos with his newborn sister Lottie, which suggests she has already received her stamp of approval. However, Zara and Louis have yet to officially announce their relationship on Instagram. They have made a conscious effort to avoid posing for any photos together.
And it turns out that Louis and Zara don’t even camp together at Glasto, preferring to stay away from the campground while he parties with his friends. He reportedly set up a tent for booze-only entertainment.
According to a source, Louis is “determined to make it a weekend to remember” and has meticulously planned everything, including ensuring there is enough alcohol at the bar. He has a tent for drinks, as well as one for himself.
Everyone agrees that it’s a nice break for him and Zara, as well as a great opportunity for Zara to meet up with friends. The source continued, “It will definitely be a boozy and not particularly romantic” situation.
When Zara and Louis were pictured on a date in Suffolk in March of this year, they first became romantically involved. Since then, they have been seen together in Los Angeles, and Zara recently caught up with Louis in Costa Rica.
However, they went so far as to share photos of each other’s stereophone concerts that match up on their Instagram stories. Then, when Zara posted a photo of her breakfast with a view of Louis’ tattooed arm in the background, she appeared to “soft launch” their romance on Instagram.
