Fans have praised singer Yungblud for his “classy” and “rare” gesture of goodwill despite the fact that he had to cancel a performance on his recently-extended US leg of his highly anticipated world tour. The 28-year-old rocker has been making waves all over the world with his upbeat, charismatic, and relatable fan base.

Ozzy Osbourne, a rock legend, advised the UK native to “conquer America” when they spoke backstage at the Black Sabbath frontman’s farewell concert, Back to the Beginning, on July 5 in Birmingham.

Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, has traveled to US cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Milwaukee, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, and more. He had to cancel his September 18 performance at The Fillmore in Philadelphia after getting sick and being told to rest.

The musician posted a video to keep everyone informed on social media as he shared the news with fans. In a move that surprised many, he put some money in the backseat of a bar to pay off fans.

Yungblud wrote, “Philly, I’m gutted to have this, but I need to reschedule the show tonight,” in the caption that came with his video post.

Since New York, I have been trying to get better for two days, but doctors have told me that I have a virus that requires me to rest and take it seriously.

The Met Philadelphia will be rescheduling and moving the show on a later date.

He advised ticketholders to check their emails for more details.

I’ve put some money behind the bar to honor the release of My Only Angel tonight and to apologise. Go to Johnny Brenda’s and say “My Only Angel” to the bar staffs to get a beer on me if you have a ticket and still want to hang out. I adore each of you.

Then Johnny Brenda’s Philadelphia bar’s address was added.

Many fans advised him to rest and concentrate on recovering, but others were blown away by his desire to give them a drink to apologize.

One person remarked, “Dinner on Yungbuld!!! The fact that you’ve put money behind the bar” (translation for non-Brits: drinks). Do you even recognize how unique that is? ?

How many famous people have canceled plans and said, “Sorry, we’re not here, we’ll fix it later on a stupid date.” Respect Dom and get well, babe.

Another questioned, “Wait, is he buying us drinks?” Another responded, “He is! ” to which another responded. What a fashionable man!”

You are a kind, generous soul, a fan once said. Sometimes your body forces you to slow down, even when your mind wants to stop. Your body should be heard. It’s really your only choice because you can live there.

One user said, “Not many artists would leave a bar tab for fans to go get a drink.” Good day, dude.
