The Tigers of Leicester’ final game will be started on the bench at Mattioli Woods Welford Road by Ben Youngs and Dan Cole.

The former England duo will retire at the end of the season and play in Leicester’s semi-final on Saturday against Sale. They both won well over 100 international caps.

Michael Cheika, the Tigers’ head coach, made three changes to the team that defeated the Falcons 42-20 last weekend.

In the starting lineup, Jack van Poortvliet and Joe Heyes, as well as Josh Bassett, will replace them with Adam Radwan, who is aiming to take home a sixth Premiership title with the Tigers.

After missing the final game of the regular season due to injury, Sale have England duo Tom Roebuck and Tom Curry available for their semi-final match against Exeter.

Roebuck has recovered from a calf issue and is one of the four Sharks players chosen for the Premiership team of the year along with Ben Curry, George Ford, center, and center Rob du Preez.

Arron Reed, a Scotland winger, starts on the left, and Joe Carpenter, a full-back, completes the back three.

With brother Ben on the other side and Jean-Luc du Preez at the eighth position, Flanker Tom Curry is restored at blind-side.

They will play either side of hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie in the back row, which is comprised of England’s front row props Bevan Rodd and Asher Opoku-Fordjour.

Rekeiti Ma’asi-White and ex-Springbok Rob du Preez, who played every minute of every Premiership game this year, play in the centers with player-of-the-year nominee Ford and England scrum-half Raffi Quirke for the second week in a row.

As former England international Mike Brown retires from the matchday squad, returning Tigers manager Cheika has fit-again Australian centre Izaia Perese back.

Brown’s professional career may come to an end with that, as he also turns 50 at the end of the season.
