Lucy Spraggan, the X Factor star, has been forced to reschedule a number of upcoming shows and revealed the shocking news in a heartfelt social media post.
Lucy Spraggan was left in tears after announcing she has been forced to cancel a string of gigs. The former X Factor star, 33, emotionally told her fans it was the “last thing” she wanted to do as she admitted she wasn’t in any fit state to put on a show.
Lucy took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking message. She said: “Hello everybody. This is absolutely the last message I wanted to be putting out.
Because my throat feels like it has razor blades in it and my nose is completely blocked, we have to reschedule the outgoing shows this week. “I woke up yesterday not feeling well, and today I woke up feeling worse.”
She continued, “Not just that, it doesn’t feel responsible to be meeting with you guys, signing things, and giving you hugs because I don’t want you to feel this way either.”
Lucy expressed her gratitude to those who had been anticipating her new album, vowing to reschedule any shows that were canceled, and broke down because she said she detests letting people down.
She said, “I’m really sorry to anyone that was coming to London, Leeds, Liverpool, and Glasgow,” as she was crying in the sad message while sporting a black top and matching baseball cap. I sincerely hope to see you in August. So, I’m sending you lots of love and making my sincere apologies.
She received a lot of support after posting the video online. The Lottery Winners, a band, were just a few words shy of “Love you mate,” along with a red love heart emoji.
Sending lots of love Lucy,” another user wrote. Take good care of yourself. First, health Do not feel bad even slightly. Don’t waste your energy worrying about that. X “
A third phrase was added: “You have to do what is best for you” . When you’re well, get well soon, and we’ll see you soon.
Thousands of people also clicked the like button, and Lizzie Cundy was also among the recipients of the support messages.
Earlier in the year, Lucy gave an insight into her relationship with Simon Cowell. In recent years, she has found herself growing closer to the media mogul.
The singer-songwriter said in a statement exclusively to the Mirror in March, “It’s as nice to have a close relationship with anyone.” He is a truly exceptional and individual person.
There are many people who I speak to frequently about this, and there are some who have a lot of opinions about him. I can only criticize those who I’ve interacted with and will judge them on their merit and how they’ve treated me.
I think Simon is a great guy because we’ve had nothing but great times together and many really important conversations.
