At the end of 2026, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy will host the first women’s indoor league.

In 2025, Woods and McIlroy, the company’s founders, declared they wanted to “help bring golf into the 21st century.”

In Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the world’s top female golfers will play team matchplay for the duration of the season.

Teams of players will play on a five-story simulator screen before moving to a green that can rotate 360 degrees, creating hole-to-hole variations in WTGL.

LPGA President Craig Kessler said, “Our partnership with TMRW Sports and TMRW Sports on WTGL reflects our belief that innovation can increase the game’s appeal to new fans and increase LPGA athletes’ visibility,”

It “creates another global stage for our athletes,” according to the statement “it continues to raise the visibility and growth of women’s golf” and encourages fans to connect with them more deeply.

Atlanta Drive won the TGL title in Florida last year by defeating New York GC 4-3.

With the help of New Yorkers Cameron Young, Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, and Matt Fitzpatrick, the Atlanta team, which included Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas, and Lucas Glover, won £6.93 million in prize money.
