Jackson Tchatchoua, a defender for Serie A side Hellas Verona, has been signed by Wolves for 12.5 million euros (£10.8 million).
The Cameroon international has the ability to play either right-back or wingback, and he was named the fastest player in Serie A last season, top speed 34.88 kmph on average.
The 23-year-old was reported as having a top speed of 36. 3 kilometers per year by Wolves.
In the Premier League, Micky van de Ven of Tottenham reached a top speed of 37.1 kmph in 2024-25, and the Dutch defender now has the 37.38 kmph league record.
Tchatchoua, who is from Belgium, began his career at Belgian club Charleroi before going on loan at Hellas for a year before making his permanent move to them in 2024.
