Leeds United had made a bid for Jorgen Strand Larsen, but Wolves turned down the offer.

The offer arrived a few days ago and was significantly lower than Wolves’ £40m asking price.

If Wolves receive a favorable offer during the transfer window, the Norwegian international, who has struggled in the Premier League this season, will be willing to sell.

Wolves are trying to rebuild their squad ahead of the anticipated relegation from the Premier League. Strand Larsen is expected to leave Molineux despite his poor form and deteriorating relationship with his fans.

The 25-year-old made the move to Celta Vigo permanent in the summer of 2024 after initially going on loan there on a temporary basis.

His tally for the season now includes six goals, including one league goal, with a hat-trick against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup this month.

This month, West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest all expressed interest in the player.

Additionally, Wolves are in talks with Besiktas and are willing to let defender Emmanuel Agbadou leave Molineux.

Wolves are looking for £17 million for the Ivory Coast international, who left Reims for £16.6 million in January, with the Turkish club’s most recent offer of £13 million.
