Vitor Pereira, the manager of Wolves, has accepted a new three-year contract at Molineux.

After joining Wolves in the Premier League in December 2024, Pereira guided the West Midlands club to a 16th-place finish last season.

The 57-year-old’s previous agreement was scheduled to expire in 2026.

Wolves are currently trailing their first four league games at the bottom.

During his time at Wolves, Victor made a very positive impact, according to chairman Jeff Shi. He has provided the foundation for our success by providing clarity, enthusiasm, and a spirit of cooperation.

The time has come for stability. We will do everything to support him and his staff, and Victor needs some time to work with the squad to establish a chemistry with his newcomers.

With the signings of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City for $ 31 million and Nelson Semedo to Fenerbahce, Wolves also lost a number of important players in the summer.

During the difficult start to the season, Portugal’s coach tried to bring in five new players, but speculation about the future of their Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen also turned out to be a disgrace.

Pereira remarked, “We will raise our bar and have the [ambition] to make our supporters proud on the pitch.”
