Witness Accusing Sean Combs Of Sexual Assault Defends Online Posts Of ‘Great Times’

Witness Accusing Sean Combs Of Sexual Assault Defends Online Posts Of ‘Great Times’

On Friday, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ defense attacked one of the women who had been accused of sexual assault by the music mogul during his federal trial in New York with upbeat social media posts.

Is it accurate to say that Mr. Combs never made a flimsy, indiscreeted phone call to you? During questioning that included displays of her personal social media posts, lawyer Brian Steel addressed a former Bad Boys Records assistant who was also a witness.

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, questioned whether he would offer Combs, 55, a pardon during a press conference at the White House on Friday, saying, “I don’t know, I would certainly look at the facts.

Russell Brand, a comedian, pleads not guilty to rape and is facing sexual assault charges.

In a trial that is scheduled to run until the summer, the facts are still being worked out. It involves Combs’ relationship with his former flame, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Ventura provided more details about years of alleged abuse and coercive, drug-fueled sex marathons with “freak-offs” of male prostitutes earlier in the trial.

Mia described this week how her job from 2009 to 2017 turned into a nightmare as she attempted to care for Ventura after the attacks, tending to “busted lips,” “bruises,” and “a black eye” while battling Combs’ fits of rage.

According to Mia’s testimony on Thursday, Combs would advise her to “go take care of her” and that “we were not permitted” to leave until her injuries healed sufficiently to hide, he added.

She also described the agonizing and traumatic moments when she described how she personally experienced abuse, including rape, while working for Combs and gave a confession of her own.

Reality vs. Instagram

Steel confronted Mia with her social media posts on Friday, where she showed a much more positive picture of her working relationship with her boss.

She described Combs as an “extraordinary cultural phenomenon” and shared sweet messages about his birthdays on a courtroom screen that showed Mia’s Instagram posts.

Steel questioned how she could make posts about the man she currently accuses of sexual assault.

Mia responded, “Of course you post the good times.” Instagram serves as a way to express how wonderful your life was, even if it wasn’t entirely accurate.

After Mia read her posts aloud, Steel repeatedly questioned Mia’s assertions, to which Mia responded, “everything I said in this courtroom is true.”

Ask any advocate for abuse victims, and they will be able to explain it to you much more effectively than I am.

Mia testified on Thursday that Combs had a history of sexual violence against her, including at the artist’s 40th birthday party in New York and at his private Los Angeles residence.

Mia described one of the assaults as “I just froze, I didn’t react, terrified and confused.”

She claimed that “he was the king or the boss,” which was very powerful.

She continued, “This is years and years before social media, Me Too, or any other example of someone standing up for a powerful individual like him.”

Jurors will be able to determine whether the Grammy-winning artist and producer supported a criminal organization and sexual trafficking at the conclusion of the court’s proceedings.
