As US mediation considers the priorities of Russia, some European leaders feel left-handed.
The Trump administration is now pushing to end Europe’s war, quickly and imperfectly, after years of American support for the Ukraine conflict continuing “as long as it takes.”
Details are still being discussed, including ensuring Ukraine never joins NATO and ensuring that about 20% of Ukraine is under Russian control.
