Nicola Peltz and husband Brooklyn Beckham had a rare public outing after his blatant Instagram post, and sources claim she has always wanted to be in the limelight.
Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham and his radiant wife Nicola emerged yesterday in their first public appearance since Brooklyn shared his explosive six-page Instagram declaration about his family on Monday evening.
Despite the family feud making front-page news in recent days, Nicola appeared remarkably at ease – gripping a coffee cup whilst snuggling against Brooklyn’s shoulder during a Malibu seaside stroll with their adopted pooch, Lamb. She was styled flawlessly in a cream knitted wrap, bootcut jeans and flat shoes, and the photographs bore all the signs of an orchestrated publicity moment.
According to sources, Nicola has a lot of reasons to smile.
Certainly, damaging allegations have been hurled at her and her spouse in recent days following Brooklyn’s savage rant – where he claimed his parents Victoria and David Beckham dominated him during his youth, disclosed that his mum branded him ‘evil’ before his wedding in April 2022 and alleged that she commandeered his opening dance.
However, according to numerous acquaintances, Nicola has perpetually craved a spotlight existence – and now she’s finally achieved it.
Nicola has consistently complained that her family name is unrecognized despite being the youngest child of billionaire fast food mogul Nelson Peltz, claim those in her circle. “With Nicola, it’s entirely about recognition,” an insider of the entertainment industry tells the Mail.
She stated that “her reputation is her greatest asset. She is naturally a member of a very wealthy dynasty. The Peltz surname doesn’t have the same influence as the Beckhams, despite their wealth.
“If Nicola hadn’t encountered Brooklyn, one would wonder if the general public would even recognize her.”
This isn’t the first occasion that such claims have been directed at Nicola. Yesterday, the elder sister of Nicola’s former partner Anwar Hadid dramatically entered the row. Alana – whose siblings are runway icons Gigi and Bella – maintained that Nicola has ‘wanted to be famous for years’.
She wrote, “That girl doesn’t want privacy; she’s been trying to be famous for ten years.
Following Anwar and Nicola’s separation in 2018, sources claim that there were considerable doubts raised. Nicola had recently departed her parents’ £76 million Florida estate to pursue her fortune in Hollywood, where she encountered Bella and Gigi – who allegedly introduced her to Anwar.
Even when the couple began their romance in 2016, at that time a 17 year old underwear model, nepo baby Anwar was four years her junior and considerably less driven. Nevertheless, aspiring actress Nicola, who reportedly was quite delighted that she had secured herself a member of the renowned Hadid clan, lost no time in endearing herself to her boyfriend’s mother, Yolanda.
Apparently, Nicola was looking forward to mingling with such a star as she was then filming the pilot for a small-scale television series called When the Streetlights Go On for the US network Hulu.
Nicola gushed about Anwar in an interview, saying, “Truly, he is an angel.” He is such a wonderful person. He comes from a wonderful family. Bella and Gianni are so incredibly sweet. I simply adore his family. They are strong, feminine girls. It’s amazing to have that close by.
However, Anwar and Nicola split up shortly after, and she abruptly “unfollowed” the entire Hadid family on Instagram.
People close to the Beckhams quickly made the point that Alana’s remarks had striking similarities to her own relationship with Brooklyn when they first appeared yesterday. According to reports, the Beckhams have also described her as “controlling,” not to mention the significant age difference between Nicola and nepo baby Brooklyn, who is five years younger.
Knowing that Yolanda went through a remarkably similar ordeal is the only comfort Victoria has found in her separation from her eldest son, according to Beckham insiders.
According to sources, “This isn’t just Victoria; it happened with Yolanda as well.” The Beckhams and Hadids share another striking parallel to this family dispute, despite having two homes on opposite sides of the pond.
