Everything you need to know about DJ Fat Tony

  • In the 1980s and 1990s, DJ Fat Tony was a steadfast fixture on London’s club scene, and he has since remained close to David and Victoria Beckham. He will give a tell-all interview about the Beckham family feud, which has resulted in Brooklyn, 26, writing a six-page statement about his separation from his parents, on ITV’s This Morning today.
  • Nicola Peltz, 31, and Fat Tony were guests at Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding and performed a late-night set at the ceremony. The biggest moment appears to be when the Beckhams’ internal animosities finally reach a point where they can’t possibly escape.
  • Brooklyn claims that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with his bride and “danced inappropriately” on him, leaving him “humiliated” and seriously upset with his new wife. He added that, “My parents have been trying to ruin my relationship from the beginning of my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
  • This now-infamous dance said to have included “grinding” and “nuzzling” on her son, and saw Victoria become the butt of the joke online. Thousands of memes were posted at the fashion designer’s expense, including one by her formerly close pal, Fat Tony.
  • He posted a video clip on social media of Lucy Punch’s character Amanda in BBC sitcom Motherland dancing wildly to Lil’ Kleine and Ronnie Flex’s track Drank & Drugs, which he captioned: “POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn’s first dance,” with his own tease included, writing: “Actual video footage. It’s true I was there!”
  • However, Stavros Agapiou, Fat Tony’s partner, appeared to support Brooklyn’s assertion that Victoria’s “inappropriate” dance was inappropriate. He claimed in a since-deleted post on social media that “I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth” and that “good on him for finally speaking out.”
  • Fat Tony stated on This Morning that he was participating in the discussion of the word’s use in the segment. He claimed that Victoria’s “spice girl’s action” and “dancing dance moves” were absent, but that the timing was, in his opinion, “inappropriate.”
  • He confirmed Brooklyn’s account of events, claiming Victoria was asked to the stage during the opening dance and that Marc Anthony, the singer, had ordered the dancers to “the most beautiful woman in the room” to do so. The former Spice Girl, who was present, was then dropped by Marc. Nicola left the room “crying her eyes out,” according to him, and Brooklyn was “devastated.”
  • He claimed that the singer, who was giving a performance, publicly urged Brooklyn to slam his mother’s hips because it was a “Latin” dance. What we find inappropriate is not Brooklyn’s feeling, they say. It all depends on how Brooklyn feels, according to Fat Tony.
  • The DJ claimed that the wedding brunch the following day was “awkward” and that only “many” people attended, but that only those who had already discussed the tension from the night before. He claimed that Victoria had been drawn into the dance.
  • Fat Tony has been a regular fixture at Victoria’s major events for many years. He performed the reception for Victoria’s collection with Reebok and Brooklyn celebrated her 21st birthday.
  • Despite being close with the Beckhams for a long time, it seems things might be a bit rocky between the pals. David and Victoria no longer appear to follow him on social media.
