Few people are aware of Natalie Holt’s impressive acting in films and television, despite the fact that she made headlines in 2013 for egging Simon Cowell live on ITV.

People are just beginning to understand what the woman behind the sexy appearance on Britain’s Got Talent is doing right now. Natalie Holt slammed eggs at the TV host during an opera performance during the viral moment. The moment that dominated the 2013 Britain’s Got Talent final was a hot topic at the time.

Few people are certain what will happen to Holt, who has worked for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry for a successful career. More than a decade after the incident, many viewers have praised the viral moment, and others have praised Holt’s other work.

Reality TV viewers were left wondering what had happened to Holt in a post to the r/BritishTV Reddit page. The Royal Academy of Music student’s performance, which featured Richard and Adam, the show’s two finalists, garnered media attention.

Although she is well-known for Cowell’s egging, she also has a career as a composer for Disney. She most recently wrote the Loki score for Disney’s Marvel TV series.

A post to the r/BritishTV page reads: “During the 2013 Britain’s Got Talent final, a woman named Natalie Holt disrupted an opera performance to pelt eggs at Simon Cowell. Holt ended up the composer for Disney+’s Loki.”

The original poster suggested the egging occurred because it wasn’t voted through, but this was refuted. Since Holt egged Cowell, theories have spread throughout the area.

One user responded, “I thought she was protesting the fact that she had been booked to Mime (lip sync)” but using tools? She objected to the use of real, expert musicians to sit back and pretend to play in the audience.

“So she exposed they were faking by stopping to pelt eggs and letting the music continue.” Another guessed: “Wasn’t the egg thing her being mad about the power Cowell had over the music industry especially with X Factor getting the Christmas number 1 every year.”

Whatever the eggy protest was intended to be about, Holt has continued to receive significant roles in some of the most well-known movies and television shows.

Holt continued to co-create with the legendary producer John Williams on Obi-Wan Kenobi and was a fixture of Knightfall’s second season.

Her work with Williams on the Star Wars spin-off was preceded by a 12 episode stint on the Loki team, which also had her feature as an accordion player.

Holt worked on Journey’s End, a fantasy film starring Matthew Vaughn, and worked on the music production for the Matthew Vaughn-directed Stardust.
