West Ham have signed defender Estelle Cascarino on loan from Juventus until the end of the season.
The France international has made 49 appearances for Juventus, but reports in Italy suggest she handed in a transfer request this month.
She has 18 months remaining on her contract at Juve, but becomes the first signing under new Hammers manager Rita Guarino.
Cascarino, 28, spent six months on loan at Manchester United in 2023, making two appearances.
She has also played for Paris St-Germain, Bordeaux, Paris FC and Lyon.
“I’m a technical player who is aggressive in my defending,” she said.
“I’m here to bring my leadership and experience to help the team on and off the pitch.
