Callum Wilson, who left Newcastle after his contract expired at the end of June, is currently being considered for free agency by West Ham.

The England striker made his debut for the Magpies in 130 games before leaving after not agreeing on a new contract.

Wilson, 33, is thought to have had interest from Premier League clubs and options in Major League Soccer.

This summer, West Ham have already signed Daniel Cummings, Kyle Walker-Peters, El Hadji Malick Diouf, and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Wilson spent five years at St James’ Park after being injured while Newcastle signed him from Bournemouth in 2020 for around £20 million.

In 2024-25, the Hammers scored 46 goals to finish 14th overall in the Premier League.
