Wembanyama helps Spurs extend winning start

The NBA season’s San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder won four games after winning.

The Spurs defeated the Toronto Raptors 121-103 at Frost Bank Center with Victor Wembanyama scoring 24 points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 23 points for the Thunder in a victory of 101-94 over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Utah Jazz defeated the Phoenix Suns 138-134 in overtime at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, and Lauri Markkanen added a career-high 51 points.

Since Karl Malone’s 1998 regular-season game in 1998, it was the Jazz’s first 50-point performance.

Joel Embiid was ruled out with a knee injury, but the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Orlando Magic 136-124 at home to record a third straight win.
