After being separated for five weeks, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are returning for Christmas in the United States. Chris will also celebrate his birthday on December 22.
This is the emotional moment JoJo Siwa was reunited with love Chris Hughes as he touched down in the US to spend Christmas with her.
In the video, JoJo, 22, is seen escorting her boyfriend and giving him a big hug in the airport. As they embraced, Chris appeared to be shedding tears in his eyes.
It comes after the couple – who met on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year – recently spent five weeks apart, which Chris recently confessed was the longest they hadn’t seen each other since getting together after starring on the ITV reality show.
Chris will also celebrate his 33rd birthday on December 22 while he is celebrating the holiday season with his family in Orlando. Chris revealed his Christmas plans earlier this month when he described JoJo as “She’s back in America at the moment… I’m going out to Orlando to see her family the week before Christmas.”

He continued, “This will be, this space now, this is like the longest I have been gone since I haven’t seen her,” in a statement to the Daily Mail. By the time I see her again, it will be almost four or five weeks. Therefore, I’ll see her the week before Christmas.
Since JoJo and Chris first met in the Big Brother house, they have been a couple forever. They later revealed the relationship status despite initially claiming they were just friends at the time.
And things could be getting even more serious between the pair, as the Mirror exclusively revealed Chris is preparing to pop the question – and could ask JoJo to marry him over Christmas. Babies are also on the cards in the future.
They are very, very loved-up, according to our source. Both of them have common interests and are very family-oriented, which is what JoJo is really hoping to do. I believe it will be planned because Chris is also interested in it more than she is, in fact. Over the holidays, it will be discussed. Our source claims that we shouldn’t have to wait too long before there is some good news to celebrate in 2026 because the couple are said to be so eager to hear the patter of tiny feet. The source added that “I don’t think anyone would be surprised if they got engaged over Christmas.” They pair perfectly well together. They are incredibly into each other and always smile and laugh. So I can see [a proposal] happening as well as the family getting ready for the following year.
JoJo has already admitted to having a dream wedding, insisting that Chris, who split from professional golfer Annabel Dimmock in 2022 and once dated Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, will be a significant part of the planning process.
She said, “We would have to decide what it looks like because a wedding is a two-person event.” However, I am aware that Chris needs to assist with making the playlist and that I want it to have a baby blue scheme.
