Wales star Ramsey increased reward for missing dog to £15,000

Aaron Ramsey, a Welsh football player, has increased the reward for information about Halo’s disappearance in Mexico to $20, 000 (£15, 000).

Halo was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, in the Guanajuato region of Mexico, according to the former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who is currently playing for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City.

The beagle, who vanished on October 9, 2017, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared the location of her last location on Google Maps.

The footballer, who has since posted several photos of Halo with his beloved pet on Instagram, came first when the player first reported that the beloved pet had vanished two weeks ago.

Initial offers for a $10, 000 reward were initially made, but Ramsey and his family decided to double the amount after a week when Halo’s whereabouts were revealed.

After the 10-year-old dog went missing, he made a second plea on social media, saying, “We just want our girl back.”

According to Ramsey, his wife Colleen and Ramsey’s family worry that “they may never get answers” because they have some “serious questions” surrounding the disappearance.

“We haven’t found Halo yet,” he continued. His wife’s post reads, “I don’t believe we will ever”.

The Wales captain made his Liga MX debut earlier this year when he left for Mexico’s top-flight side Pumas UNAM.
