Following a previous gunfight with the state’s Shinkafi Volunteer Forces, Kachalla Yellow Danbokolo, a notorious bandit kingpin, died over the weekend in Zamfara State.
Kachalla Yellow’s passing was wildly celebrated in Zamfara State and throughout the state’s North-West states, where he is regarded as one of the most notorious bandits in the area, even more dangerous than his cousin Bello Turji, who they categorize as a lone spokesperson.
Kachalla Yellow and more than 173 bandits were killed, according to security sources who spoke to Kachalla Yellow.
Kachalla Yellow, who was seriously hurt in the attack, passed away over the weekend and was buried on Saturday, according to the sources.

His death and that of a number of his-described fighters were reportedly being celebrated, particularly by Shinkafi Local Government Area residents in Kurya District.
