Vogue Williams, a television presenter, revealed that she knew something had gone wrong when she wed Westlife singer Brain McFadden.
TV star Vogue Williams has opened up about her ill-fated marriage to Westlife’s Brian McFadden, admitting she had doubts on their wedding day in 2012. The couple, who met in a Dublin nightclub and got engaged in early 2012, celebrated their nuptials in Florence, Italy, but the marriage unravelled within three years, leading to their divorce in 2017.
Despite being “good fun to be around” most of the time, Vogue admits in her tell-all autobiography “Big Mouth” that Brian wasn’t “marriage material.” She writes, “I knew I had made a mistake, but the morning of the wedding I felt very anxious and stressed out.” I made an effort to work things out after the wedding.

She openly admits, “It was me who called it in the end.” It felt pointless to me because I couldn’t keep trying. Although I’m not here to blame anyone, there are some things that happened in our relationship that will never be forgotten.
Vogue further revealed that she believed her “life was over” when her divorce from Brian was finalized after sharing her experiences with Bryony Gordon on The Life of Bryony podcast.
She reaffirmed her past worries, saying, “I remember being divorced at 31 and thinking, I’ve destroyed my life. I’m never going to have children, nor will I continue to pursue my true passions.
She continued, “Then you see how your life actually begins to unfold – that’s why moving into your forties feels exciting.”
Since then, Vogue has fallen in love with Chelsea crooner Spencer Matthews. Just a few months after getting engaged, they held a low-key Scottish ceremony in surprise of everyone. Vogue described it as “the best day of her life.”
Hello! shares Spencer’s sentiments with Spencer. Magazine article: “It is considered by many to be the best wedding they’ve ever attended.” In the middle of nowhere, it felt very isolated and like a family affair. The people we care about surrounded us.
