Vogue Williams, a Podcaster, admits she had a “married with children” attitude when she was 30 but ended up divorcing Westlife star Brian McFadden.
Vogue Williams “felt embarrassed” after splitting from Westlife star Brian McFadden. The Irish podcast queen married the singer in 2012, but separated just three years later.
Vogue, 40, who had previously admitted she was still struggling with anxiety after the breakup, divorced in 2017. Before turning 30 years old, the TV presenter claims she had always imagined that she would have children.
Addressing the split on her Vogue Williams – What Does She Even Do? YouTube channel, the mother-of-three said: “I had it in my mind that I would be married with kids when I was 30.”
She continued: “I felt really embarrassed at the start, of the whole failure of getting divorced, but you have to say yes to things and when you feel really down, or sad, break-ups are the hardest thing in the world, I think.
You are so ensnared in them that they almost make you die, but if you make yourself leave, things get easier. ”
Vogue met former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews while filming The Jump after her split from Brian was finalized. Although Vogue claims they “tried” not to be together, the pair argued, and they were drawn to one another.
She continued, “We made an effort, Penny and I made an effort not to be with each other.” I had just started dating for the first time in my life and was feeling comfortable because I was enjoying myself. I had just started to get out of a long relationship.
So we kept falling back into each other despite not wanting to be with anyone. We kept coming back together even though we made attempts to avoid each other, which is how I came to terms with the fact that I knew [he was the one]. ”
Vogue claims that Spencer is a “good craic,” but she insisted that she should pursue him because of her friends. Spencer and Spencer proposed to Vogue during a trip to The Lion King in London’s West End in January 2018, months after the pair began dating.
Five months later the pair tied the knot at Spencer’s family estate, Glen Affric, in the Scottish Highlands. The ceremony was followed by a second wedding which was documented on Channel 4 in Spencer, Vogue and Wedding Two.
Theodore, Gigi, and Otto are now together as parents. In order to commemorate their tenth wedding anniversary in 2028, Vogue previously revealed that she is planning a third wedding with Spencer.
Speaking to her friend Joanne McNally on their My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast last year, Vogue said: “I have bad news. Spen and I, when we’re 10 years married, in three years time, we are going to do a wedding. I know that we got married, but when we got married in Scotland and that wasn’t meant to be our wedding, there were like 20 people there.
