Video: What do Rohingya refugees think about Myanmar’s election?

More than 1 million Rohingya refugees from Bangladesh who fled what the UN called “genocidal violence” in Myanmar are unlikely to change the situation because of Myanmar’s election. Since the junta’s rule in 2021, efforts to repatriate the Muslim minority have been in vain. Tanvir Chowdhury of Al Jazeera reports from Cox’s Bazar.
