After his mother liked a picture of him roasting a chicken, Brookel Beckham, who is married to Nicola Peltz, blocked Victoria, David, and Cruz on Instagram this week.

Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel is said to have become Victoria’s new protégé.

Victoria, 51, is alleged to be “a massive fan” of Cruz, who Cruz began dating in the summer of 2024. The 30-year-old has since quietly risen through the ranks of social media influencers, landing endorsement deals with some of the most prestigious brands in the industry.

She has reportedly struck up a strong bond with Victoria, a fashion designer, while the mum’s relationship with Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz has deteriorated this year. The former member of the Spice Girls remains embroiled in a family feud with Brooklyn, 26, who this week brutally blocked his family on Instagram.

However, Jackie’s online popularity has increased significantly in recent years. Victoria has been a fervent supporter of Jackie since the beginning and has always seen her potential, according to a source close to the Beckhams. She was so eager to help her gain a well-known name in the sector.

Cruz, 20, jumped to his parents’ defence after Brooklyn, a former model, took aim at them with the social media snub. He is said to be grateful for his mother to have taken a special interest in Jackie and help shape her career, introducing her to top industry figures and propelling her to become a “big influencer”.

Victoria, who has built her empire from the ground up with an eponymous fashion brand and beauty line, is herselfno stranger to the power of social media. It has turbo-charged her sales to the point that one of her eyeliners is now selling every 30 seconds, reports the Daily Mail.

After launching Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019, she enlisted PR agency CGC Global to help grow the brand’s global presence. CGC, which represents high-profile names including Hermès Beauty, Diptyque and Glossier, was also seen as the ideal partner to elevate Jackie’s profile. Victoria introduced her to CGC founder Clare Goodwin, confident she would be well looked after — a decision that has clearly paid off.

Major global brands have tapped Jackie for social media collaborations like Dior, Burberry, Jimmy Choo, and Pandora, and her rise has been nothing short of meteoric.

Her online following has nearly doubled since she began dating fellow singer Cruz. In just the past two months, she has added 30,000 Instagram followers, bringing her total to 192,000. While that still trails Cruz’s impressive 2.1 million followers, Jackie is rapidly establishing herself as a powerful influencer in her own right.

She can now make up to £10, 000 per sponsored post, according to industry insiders. Her recent collaborations with ASOS, Fendi, and Harrods further strengthen her influence.
