Brooklyn was Brooklyn’s ex-boyfriend when Victoria Beckham rang in the new year with one small gesture.
Victoria Beckham and her husband Sir David rang in the New Year in style, wearing one of her own designer dresses for the occasion. But behind the smiles and the party atmosphere, the former Spice Girl’s thoughts were evidently turning to her eldest son Brooklyn, 26, who the family has been locked in a heartbreaking feud with.
The budding chef is currently not speaking to his parents or his siblings, and even went as far as blocking them on social media a few days before Christmas.
However, devoted mother-of-four Victoria made it clear that she would never stop thinking about him and that the door would always be open in the event that he wanted to make peace.

The 51-year-old designer reshared a sweet black and white snap posted by David of him and Brooklyn, where the England footie icon wrote, “I love you all so much,” adding a red heart to the post. David also shared another black-and-white snap with Victoria and all their brood, writing alongside it: “You are my life, I love you all, love Daddy. On to 2026.”
It was another pointed and public olive branch from Brooklyn’s father to his eldest son that he is constantly in their thoughts – despite Brooklyn snubbing him in the previous year during major events – such as his 50th birthday in May and his knighthood in November – which he failed to acknowledge.
On New Year’s Eve, Brooklyn’s brother Cruz simply shared a sunny throwback holiday snap of himself and his famous dad on his Instagram story, but Romeo failed to mark the New Year with any family posts at all – and neither brother has yet commented on their dad’s gushing New Year post.
Although he failed to share a single photo of Brooklyn, Sir David’s 2025 round-up social media post did not mention any family drama, instead focusing on all the positive things that had happened in the previous twelve months. However, he did post images of Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, who were both taking vacations.
He added, “I feel very lucky to have had a year like my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself), and then winning the MLS as an owner,” alongside a carousel of images.
He continued, “I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all… But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say “Onto the next.” Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids.”
Brooklyn, despite rumours that a Christmas reunion might well be on the cards with his family back in the UK. remained with his actress wife Nicola Peltz in America, where he lives, for the festive season.
When Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola in Miami wasn’t one of Victoria’s dresses to wear as the bride’s wedding dress, it is thought that the family’s roots may have been in that moment.
But it seemed to be cemented in earnest when Brooklyn was noticeably absent from David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations last May, having also been a now-show for his mum’s 51st birthday in April.
Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz revealed in December that he, his brother, sister and his parents had all been blocked by Brooklyn on Instagram – though he continues to follow his aunts and grandparents on the platform.
