Victoria Beckham has hit the headlines after her son Brooklyn Beckham mentioned her dancing ‘inappropriately’ at his wedding in a scathing statement – but there is one part that’s left her even more devastated
Victoria Beckham has been left devastated over son Brooklyn’s statement which called her out as a mother in front of the entire world.
While fans have been become fixated over the brutal wedding revelations – including that bride Nicola Peltz ran out of her own reception in tears after watching Victoria dance ‘inappropriately on’ her son, for the fashion designer this is not the worst part of Brooklyn’s take down.
For mum Victoria the most stinging line that she cannot get over was the very end of Brooklyn’s takedown. Friends say the mum of four was completley heartbroken over the mention of her eldest’s ‘future family’ and how she will never be a part of their lives.
Giving an explosive end to his six page gut-punch, Brooklyn wrote: “All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
The subtle hint at future grandchildren is said to have been particularly hurtful to Victoria and David who have always gushed about putting their family first.
Being grandparents is said to be a dream for them, and Brooklyn has made it clear they will not be seeing any children that he and Nicola welcome as he vowed to cut ties for good.
David and Victoria are said to be frantic over the statement that will see them frozen out unless things improve dramatically between the Beckhams and their eldest son.
When asked about how she’d feel about being a grandmother during an interview in 2024 – years before the family chaos – Victoria said: “Hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful.”
A source exclusively revealed to The Mirror that Victoria was “on the floor” and “shocked to pieces” when she first saw the lengthy statement, and had only found out about it seconds after it went live.
“Victoria is on the floor, shocked to pieces that her son would do this. Everyone is in shock. But Victoria is totally in pieces over this. But, she is worried, as is David, that this will be the end of Brand Beckham, with the claims of the falseness and pretend relationships; they are worried about what else he is going to come out with,” they said.
“They’re still blaming Nicola, feeling she had put him up to this, and it’s all to do with her; they’re constantly blaming Nicola. But as Brooklyn said, he had to do this. He’s sick of being controlled by their narrative”
The source added: “He sent legal letters telling them to stop talking about them and putting false stuff out there, the wedding dress, it was an awful thing for Victoria to do and made out Nicola didn’t want to wear her dress.”
In it, he claimed he did not want to reconcile with his family and said his family had “controlled narratives” for his entire life. He claimed that his mother cancelled making his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress and embarrassed him at his wedding.
He wrote: “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.” He also said how his mum “hijacked” his first dance, something which has been subjected to memes across the internet, leaving Victoria even more devastated sources have claimed.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” he wrote.
“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
