Another video showing an awkward interaction – or this time lack thereof – between Victoria Beckham and her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz has gone viral on social media

Following Brooklyn’s bombshell statement slamming his parents David and Victoria Beckham earlier this week, fans are turning to sleuths digging into the depths of the feud.

And a newly resurfaced clip of Victoria, 51, Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola Peltz, 31, has gone viral on social media – and lead fans to claim Posh Spice is “not the problem”. The “cringe” video has resurfaced on TikTok and drawn new attention over the dynamics of Victoria’s and Nicola’s dynamic before the fall out erupted.

In the clip, which is understood to have been captured in 2022 during Paris Fashion Week – just a few months after Brooklyn and Nicola, who broke cover yesterday, tied the knot, Victoria is seen chatting with Brooklyn, who appears to be subtly trying to get his wife’s attention, as she has her back turned to the pair.

Mum and son Victoria are seen talking while Nicola is speaking to a blonde woman. Brooklyn appears to be smiling while chatting with his mum before a woman in a pink plaid coat approaches the pair and speaks to the mother-son duo. Victoria and Brooklyn are then seen edging closer to Nicola, before the woman walks out of shot. Brooklyn is seen touching Nicola’s behind and tugging on her belt loop – appearing to be an attempt at trying to get her attention as Victoria and Brooklyn continue to chat.

Deep in conversation, Nicola doesn’t respond to Brooklyn’s subtle attempt at getting her attention – leaving Victoria and her son to continue chatting and as the video cuts Victoria appears to shrug her shoulders while Harper Beckham is also seen standing in the background.

The video, which was originally posted on TikTok years ago, is gaining new attention as people are speculating about who could be at fault in the moment, which was branded “cringe” by one user. On TikTok user who re-shared the clip stated: “Leaked footage from 2022 of the Beckhams, Victoria is not the problem…”

Another added: “Even when talking to someone you turn and at least say hello and excuse yourself and say you’re talking to a friend and won’t be long.” While another said: “That’s still her mother in law she needs to respect her”.

However, others defended Nicola as one said: “She’s already talking to somebody else. I think it might be taken out of context.” And another said: “I don’t see anything weird they’re all just talking”. While a third claimed: “Here in 2026. Mom trying to pull him away while wife is talking to someone. He tethers himself to her. Wife is his anchor.”

It comes after Brooklyn and Nicola broke their cover yesterday as they were photographed smiling, laughing, holding hands and hugging, taking a stroll on a beach days after Brooklyn decided to “go nuclear” on the war with his parents. And as the images of the pair came to light a source revealed to the Mirror that the aspiring chef has no regrets over the stunt.

A pal said: “He would do it all again in a heartbeat but now he just wants to live his life with the woman he loves.” Elsewhere a guest at Brooklyn’s wedding also spoke to the Mirror about Victoria’s dance, which became a meme and subject of mockery following Brooklyn’s statement.

They told us: “She was a bit wooden, but not sleazy.” But the partygoer at Brooklyn and Nicola’s reception in 2022 said they found Victoria’s dancing cringeworthy. They told the Mirror: “It was inappropriate but only in the sense that she appeared to be the centre of attention when it should have been about the bride instead.” And added: “There was no grinding. But it was a bit of a stiff, awkward performance.”
