Ukrainian children among victims of deadly Russian missile attacks

According to the report, aerial attacks by Russian forces have claimed the lives of at least nine people and injured many others across Ukraine.

Authorities in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region reported on Sunday that two children, 11 and 14, were killed in a Saturday Russian airstrike that set a store on fire.

In the southwestern Odesa region, Russian jets bombed a number of trucks and other vehicles, according to Ukrainian officials, killing two people and injuring three.

Governor Oleksandr Prokudin claimed that after Russian forces launched drone, artillery, and air attacks on more than 20 settlements in the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were hurt.

In addition, Ukraine attacked Russian infrastructure and troops. Overnight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, its air defenses intercepted 164 Ukrainian drones, including 39 over the Black Sea and 26 over Crimea.

The Koltsevoy pipeline, which runs 400 kilometers (250 miles) and transports gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel from refineries, was attacked by Ukraine’s military intelligence, according to its military intelligence unit.

The two parties are still fighting fiercely over Pokrovsk, which is crucial to Moscow’s plan to rule the entire eastern Donetsk region.

Russian authorities refuted the claim that the Ukrainian army was encircled in the area, while Russia claimed on Saturday that it had killed a number of Ukrainian special forces that were debarked by helicopter in the city.
