In the Dubai Tennis Championships final, Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime to claim his first career title.

The 26-year-old Greek outlasted his former Canadian foe 6-3, 6-3, to win.

The fourth seed had previously reached the tournament’s final twice, losing to Roger Federer in the first year and Novak Djokovic in the latter.

The biggest outdoor hard-court award of his career was won by world number 11 Tsitsipas on Saturday, making it his 12th tour-level triumph.
