Trump warns of ‘incalculable price’ if Venezuela won’t accept ‘prisoners’

If Venezuela doesn’t “immediately” return its citizens who he described as “prisoners” and “people from mental institutions,” President Trump has threatened to have “incalculable” consequences.

“GET THEM THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY, RIGHT NOW, OR THE PRICE YOU PAY WILL BE INCALCULABLE”! he stated on Saturday on his Truth Social platform. He claimed without any supporting evidence that Venezuela had “forced” these people into the US and that “thousands of people have been seriously hurt, and even killed by these “Monsters.”

One day after he announced a new strike against alleged drug vessels from Venezuela in the Caribbean that killed three men he characterized as “male narcoterrorists,” Trump’s latest outburst came amid escalating tensions.

Venezuela, on the other hand, has called for a UN investigation into at least three strikes on boats that have resulted in 17 casualties since the start of September and accuses the US of starting an “undeclared war” in the Caribbean.

In the largest US naval deployment in the Caribbean, Washington has sent seven warships, a nuclear-powered submarine, and F-35 stealth fighters to international waters off Venezuela’s coast. The submarines are supported by F-35 fighters sent to Puerto Rico.

Trump claims that the military is conducting an anti-drug operation, but he hasn’t provided specific proof to support claims that the boats targeted have been drug traffickers. According to legal experts, the attacks are extrajudicial killings.

Maduro’s arrest was rewarded with a reward.

Nicolas Maduro, president of Venezuela, has claimed repeatedly that the US intends to remove him from power, raising the prospect of an attack on Venezuelan soil as a result of the deployment.

Trump denied this week’s allegations that he was interested in regime change, but Washington insisted on the heels of Washington’s announcement last month, increasing the reward for information leading to Maduro’s arrest by $50 million, alleging links to organized crime and drug trafficking.

After Washington increased the reward for his arrest, Maduro pledged to mobilize more than four million militia fighters in response to US “threats.” He denies any links between high-ranking authorities and drug gangs.

Trump received a letter from Maduro.

According to the Reuters news agency, Maduro offered to speak with Washington in private after the first US attack on a ship from the south American nation at the beginning of the month.

In the letter, Maduro urged “direct and frank” discussions to “overcome media noise and fake news” and said, “President, I hope together we can overcome the lies that have sullied our relationship, which must be historic and peaceful.”

According to the AFP news agency, Maduro’s YouTube channel vanished from the video-sharing service on Saturday in a separate development.
