Trisha Goddard, a legend of telly, has revealed that she was informed after a scan that there is no proof that her cancer is metastasizing to her brain.

Trisha Goddard has revealed that her brain cancer has not advanced. After overcoming it in 2008, the talk show legend was given the rare stage four breast cancer.

Trisha revealed that she was regularly having blood tests as well as MRI and CAT scans as part of her ongoing cancer treatment. She has since received the results of her most recent scan, but she has now “thanked heavens.”

The results confirmed that her cancer has not spread to her brain. In her latest post, Trisha was seen dancing and smiling from ear to ear while in front of her Christmas tree. She said: “It’s how my Oncology team keep keeps tabs on all those little f***er cancer cells they’re constantly playing Whack-A-Mole with!

“Depending on results, my treatments and medications are constantly changed to outwit them. Thank heavens, I got my results about an hour after my scan via a special app on my phone because I can’t imagine having to go into the New Year full of angst waiting for them… and my heart goes out to all of you who are currently having to go through that.

“I have something to celebrate tonight, which is good news for me!” Many thanks once more! to the staff, radiologists, doctors, and staff at my Radiology Imaging/MRI facility, where business as usual is practiced.

Trisha continued, “P. S. I firmly believe in patient-centred cancer services and what I call ” joined up.” When I met with the Under-Secretary of State for Public Health and Prevention, a fellow metastatic breast cancer survivor, @ashleydalton_mp, recently in London, to talk about how I could get involved with the upcoming Cancer Plan… What a woman! Stay tuned for a post about that.

Over the festive period, the former Celebrity Big Brother star shared her happiness having celebrated her 68th birthday. She said: “If dem ask me how me feel turning 68 today & living with metastatic breast cancer,” as she was seen dancing around celebrating her big day.

Trisha is also living with Raynaud’s syndrome, which restricts blood flow to her fingers and toes. Speaking previously about her terminal diagnosis, Trisha said on social media: “When you first hear those words, ‘Your cancer has come back’ and every time you look at the news, your eye seems to be drawn to the words cancer and terminal, you think that’s it, but scientists and the Medical world have re-classified metastatic cancer to being a life limiting illness, for good reason.”

Trisha had a course of chemotherapy before flying to the UK just 24 hours before entering the Celeb Big Brother home. She had an ultrasound scan shortly after landing to give her the necessary rest and make sure she wasn’t suffering from deep vein thrombosis.

However, show managers made every effort to make sure Trisha was comfortable while she was there. She believed she would just get a curtain around her bed, but she didn’t anticipate them to go the extra mile. They surprisingly decided I should have my own bedroom, loo, and bathroom, which I genuinely wasn’t expecting, she told the Mail.
