The 2025 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award will be presented to England’s footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts player Littler, Luke, and cricketer Davina Perrin.
For their outstanding accomplishments over the past 12 months, the trio has received recognition.
The Lionesses won Euro 2025, Littler won the first world title, and Perrin won the record-breaking innings.
Littler, who had a breakthrough year in darts, was the first to do so in 2024.
The three candidates were revealed live on Greg’s BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
The shortlist was compiled by a panel who will also decide the winner. They will be revealed live on the BBB Sports Personality of the Year show on Thursday, 18 December.

Michelle Agyemang
In both the quarter-final and semi-final, Agyemang scored crucial late equalizers in the lead and decisive roles in England’s pursuit of Euro 2025 glory just three months after her international debut.
Agyemang won the Golden Girl trophy, which is presented to the best young player in Europe, after her stunning interventions earned her the title Young Player of the Tournament.
She was also honored as the best under-21 female player in the world, and she received the Kopa Trophy.
Agyemang, who has been out of action with the Lionesses since September 2024, injured her anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Brighton on October 20th.
Being chosen for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year is a great honor, Agyemang said.

Littler, Luke
Littler, 17, won the final of the tournament to become the youngest darts world champion in history. He also won the championship against Michael van Gerwen, who was also a dominant player.
Only the fifth player to win the PDC Triple Crown of World Championship, Premier League, and Matchplay titles after his subsequent victory at World Matchplay.
And he wasn’t done there either; his Grand Slam of Darts victory in November saw him reach the top for the first time. He breaks the previous record set by a 24-year-old Van Gerwen, who set it at age 18 to become the youngest man to do so.
Littler said, “It’s a great honor to be nominated for Young Sports Personality of the Year once more. I’m grateful for my year’s victory, and I’ve had a fantastic year.

Davina Perrin
One of English cricket’s most promising young talents, Perrin, soared to fame in August with an extraordinary and record-breaking innings.
Her stunning 42-ball T20 century for the Northern Superchargers in The Hundred is the fastest of all English women’s T20s, and it is also the third-fastest women’s T20 century for a major league or full-member T20 international. Harry Brook, the only Englishman’s player, has recorded a faster century in The Hundred.
As the Bears advanced to the Women’s T20 Blast Finals, Perrin won the PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year award and placed second in the run-scoring charts.
