The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC East title for the second year in a row when they defeated the Washington Commanders 29-18.

Following a fight between the two players in the fourth quarter, Washington’s Javon Kinlaw and Quan Martin were both dismissed along with Philadelphia’s Tyler Steen.

The incident occurred after Saquon Barkley’s two-point conversion gave the visiting Eagles a 29-10 lead, and the trio were flagged for being unnecessarily rough during the altercation.

“It’s chippy out there,” he declared. Since I’ve been here, we have a lot of history with this team,” said Barkley.

This team doesn’t like us, and this is true, too. However, we must maintain football.

The NFL champions finished with 132 yards and a touchdown on Barkley, while teammate Jalen Hurts completed 22 of her 30 passes, totaling 185 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles (10-5) won the NFC East for the first time since 2004 when they won four titles in a row.

That’s significant, according to Barkley, “Back-to-back division champs, hasn’t been done in 20 years.”

“The way we finished is fantastic. We fought back, and most importantly, we won.

The Chicago Bears also improved their play-off chances with a dramatic 22-16 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers.

With just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Bears fell 16-6, but with just 24 seconds left, Jahdae Walker scored the final score.

In overtime, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams found Walker for the touchdown and then sent a 46-yard pass to DJ Moore for the winning touchdown.
