Travis Kelce broke his silence about his engagement to Taylor Swift by making a four-word statement. The couple revealed their secret engagement two weeks prior to making a significant social media announcement to fans.
Travis is said to have taken Taylor out for dinner shortly after recording their joint appearance on the New Heights podcast, before kneeling down in Lee Summit, Missouri’s back garden to plant a beautiful floral garden around a gazebo.
He revealed the news to his brother Jason in a teaser clip for this week’s episode of the New Heights podcast despite keeping a low profile with the couple. Travis and Taylor are engaged, according to Jason, who added, “We’ve got to talk about it” throughout the world. Yay”!
Travis responded, “I appreciate everyone who reached out and sent something, as well as all the posts and the excitement that has been occurring. Telling everyone I’m going to spend the rest of my life with has been a lot of fun.
One fan praised his decision to marry rather than just get married. Notice Taylor and Travis’s attention being drawn to the commitment and not the wedding and engagement. A third person continued, “It’s been really fun telling everyone I’m going to spend the rest of my life with, “OMG I just fell to my knees, I love them both so much.”
Travis is anticipated to reveal more about the engagement even though the full episode of the podcast is not yet available. However, it is scheduled to drop later today. The couple announced their engagement last month in a joint Instagram post featuring a dynamite stick emoji and the caption “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Taylor continued to post the news on Instagram along with a heart emoji and a heart-shaped emoji for her song, So High School from the anthology of the album The Tortured Poets Department, which is said to have been written about her fiancee, who is alleged to have been playing background music.
Travis was a part of the ring’s design. According to reports, the outlet has learned that Kindred Lubeck’s engagement ring is an Old Mine Brilliant Cut, and that Travis worked on the design as well.
Travis’ father, Ed, has also been very critical of the engagement. He revealed that Travis had a sizable team working on the engagement and some even hid in the bushes during the romantic moment during an interview with the Jimmy &, Nath Show with Emma.
Travis had advised Taylor to take a glass of wine with him before leaving the property for a meal out, according to Ed on the program. She may have recognized it as a proposal when she went outside, he claimed.
He added, “I believe she knew something was up because she could see suddenly there were a lot more flowers out there.” Ed claimed in the interview that people “help Travis out with a lot of things” had decorated his son’s garden. He continued, “They got it all ready. They actually hid in the bushes so they wouldn’t be a part of it because they saw them coming.
When his son asked how long the ring had been around before popping the question, Ed replied, “Oh, I don’t know. I believe I saw it earlier in the summer, perhaps in July. He claimed Travis had been “ready” but “had a lot going on” over the past few months.
Travis and Taylor kept the engagement “quiet for a while,” according to Ed in the interview. He suggested that the move was made in response to her criticism of earlier this month’s release of her album, The Life of a Showgirl. You don’t want to stifle that energy, he said.
