Jonny Holloway, the star of The Traitors, has since refuted his initial claims that he may be the father of Penelope, Charlotte Chilton’s daughter, rather than Conor Maynard.
The Traitors star Jonny Holloway has gone back on his initial admission where he hinted at possibly being the father of Charlotte Chilton’s daughter. Both Charlotte and Jonny appeared on the same series of the BBC show and at the time, he claimed to have slept with Charlotte.
When she found out she was pregnant with her first child, she immediately announced that singer Conor Maynard was the father after sleeping with him at the time of the show’s wrap party. But Conor maintained that he was not the father which led to a lengthy paternity row. Two tests have been reportedly carried out, which show that Conor is not the father.
Jonny said in the tense paternity debate: “Relations took place on a drunken night out. At the time, I was incredibly drunk.
He continued to quote the Daily Mail, “I’ve requested a DNA test a number of times but have been ignored.” However, the reality TV star has now posted a video of himself apologizing to fans who have questioned why he had not apologised while Charlotte and Conor were tussling.
He responded by saying he couldn’t “perform” on the night. First of all, I am aware that the dates don’t add up. The person who dragged me into this has altered some of the details and implies that I am the father.
He continued, “I don’t believe I’m the father, as I once said, because the dates don’t work.” I was very intoxicated when it happened. He “didn’t want it to happen,” which is something I don’t want to discuss in the least.
Conor previously shared a message from Jonny’s ex wife Lauren Ward, who claimed her then husband had slept with the Traitors star.
He continued, “My name has been mentioned in public,” in his response. This involves my children. Penelope continues to play this. My name should be removed from this if I take a DNA test.
He continued, “I know this entire situation is unreal, but I can’t explain it any more.”
Conor is not the father, despite two DNA tests proving otherwise, Charlotte is unwaveringly confident. According to reports, this is because of a uncommon medical condition.
Conor acknowledged that he felt the need to name Jonny as a potential father because he believed he had been left “with no choice.”
Imagine waking up to discover that your ex-wife is spreading rumors about you before The Traitors started filming, Jonny said in a state of disbelief earlier this month.
