Sam Mucklow proposed to Shelby Tribble during a romantic proposal in South Africa, and Shelby Tribble announced the decision on Instagram overnight. The reality TV personality showed off her stunning engagement ring, which featured a thin band and an oval-shaped, sizeable diamond.
In front of a romantic backdrop of a giant heart made of red roses and a neon sign that reads, “Will you marry me?,” Shelby poses her hand, hands neatly manicured, and the image shows her. Shelby mentioned her fiance and the location of Campus Bay in Western Cape, South Africa.

After appearing on TOWIE together, the couple, who have sons Abel, 5, and Teskey, 8, have been dating since then. After four years of dating, the couple split in 2023, but the couple got engaged in 2019.
Fans weren’t surprised by the split, as Shelby had been posting cryptic messages on social media, including one that read, “Go where you are celebrated not tolerated,” along with a photo of her alone on a night out.
Shelby and Sam’s romance was rekindled when they split up and flew away on vacation together five months later.
In October 2024, Shelby and Sam announced they would have a second child. She shared a picture of a heart-shaped cake with the words “Oh Baby” written in icing on the top and “beige icing” on the top. A sonogram image was displayed next to the card. Baby Number 2 is coming soon, according to the couple’s caption.
