Tory Lanez was stabbed 14 times in prison, and a disturbing image has emerged of him. The singer, 42, is currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and was just recently stabbed by a different prisoner in Tehachapi’s California Correctional Institution.
He was seen walking down a corridor in grey shorts and gold chains while drenched and splattered with blood and had a panicked expression on his face in new photos of the incident, which TMZ obtained.  ,
The images were captured after a 39-second clip of the music star’s assault on him by an unknown assailant, Santino Casio, emerged. As he screams “Oh God!” while kicking and groaning on the ground, Tory quickly screams “Oh God.”
He eventually made it out of the situation and ran down the stairs. It became clear that he was a “fair comdition” at the California Correctional Institution a few days after he was stabbed.
In the meantime, the star, who is known as Daystar Peterson, was moved from a hospital to a restricted housing facility, according to the jail.
The rapper, who was born in Brampton, Canada, was allegedly stabbed 14 times before collapsing with a lung.
A prison official claimed that Daystar Peterson (BW0168) allegedly attacked him at a housing complex in the California Correctional Institution (CCI) in Tehachapi on May 12, 2025, at around 7:20 a.m. Staff called 911 right away, activated it, and began receiving medical care.
Peterson is in good condition after being taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.  ,
Casio has been placed in restricted housing while the CCI Investigative Services Unit and the Kern County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate. The Inspector General’s Office has received a notification.
On the star’s Instagram page, details of what transpired were shared. The lengthy post had a hopeful ending. He is speaking normally, in good spirits, and deeply grateful to God that he is surviving, despite being in pain, according to the statement.  ,
He also cited the support and continued prayers of everyone, and provided emojis, saying “he also wanted to thank everyone.”
More than 2, 000 inmates, including serial killers and sex offenders, reside at the California Correctional Institution, which is located about 75 miles (120 kilometers) north of Los Angeles.
