Tinubu On Three-State Visit, To Spend Yuletide In Lagos

As part of the festive season schedule, President Bola Tinubu will travel to three states.

President Tinubu will travel to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States on Saturday, according to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga.

President Tinubu will commission some projects that Governor Babagana Zulum and the Federal Government are working on while they are in Borno State.

He will also see Hadiza Kam Salem, the son of former governor of the state, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and Sadeeq Sheriff’s son.

The President will travel to Bauchi from Maiduguri, condoling Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late renowned Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniya Muslim Brotherhood, with the government of Bauchi State.

On November 27, The Sheikh passed away.

Tinubu will depart for Lagos for the upcoming end-of-year vacations following the condolence visit.

In addition to his numerous official duties while in the city, Onanuga noted that the President is anticipated to be the guest of honor at the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27.
