
In Paris on Sunday, President Bola Tinubu and Rwandan President Paul Kagame had a private lunch over which they discussed global issues and strategies for accelerating Africa’s growth in a more complex world.
President Tinubu stated in a post on X that the two leaders were focusing on shaping Africa’s future despite the difficulties posed by a rapidly changing global environment.
In a private lunch with H.E. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, we discussed the state of world affairs and the development of Africa in a constantly evolving global environment, according to Tinubu’s post.

The Special Adviser to the President for Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga from Europe, stated in a statement that Tinubu would continue “his end-of-year break and ahead of his official trip to Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.”
The president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has been invited to take part in the 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026) Summit, which will take place in the emirate in the first few days of January.
The weeklong summit is an annual gathering of government, business, and society leaders to discuss the upcoming era of sustainable development.
With the theme “ADSW: The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go,” the film demonstrates how the world can advance confidently through action across innovation, finance, and people.
