‘Throwing money around not sustainable’ – Celtic defend window in 1000-word statement

In response to criticism from fans, Celtic have defended their summer transfer business, saying that “throwing money” around is “not a sustainable path to success.”

Following “constructive” meetings with supporters’ groups the day before, the Scottish Premiership champions made that affirmation in a statement released late on Saturday.
