
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the ruling party’s ruling party, which includes three opposition members.
Umar Adamu, a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Zakari Sanusi, a member of the Ibi Constituency, are among the members.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) rejected the third lawmaker, Anas Shaibu, who represents the Karim 2 Constituency.
The Speaker, John Kizito, who read their defection letters on the floor of the House, claimed they were motivated by Governor Agbu Kefas’ desire to turn the state’s fortunes around.

Kizito added that stakeholders, political partners, and constituents were all subject to thorough analysis and in-depth analysis during the defections.
The lawmaker claimed that supporting the PDP would enable him to better represent the needs of my constituents in his letter of defection.
He added that moving would enable him to make a stronger contribution to the state’s development.
I appreciate the opportunities I had while working for the NNPP, but after careful discussion with my good neighbors in Jalingo 1 and consideration, I believe the PDP’s ideology and vision more closely align with my values and commitment to our people.
The Ibi Constituency member also echoed the letter’s content.
