A building under construction in Akure, Ondo State, injured three construction workers as it collapsed.
When the building along Oba Adesida Road, which was next to the former All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat, collapsed, the workers were reported to be busy.
One of them escaped unharmed in the incident that occurred on Tuesday at around 4 p.m., while three of them suffered injuries.
The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) is treating those who received injuries quickly.

Opeyemi Adeyemo, one of the project’s supervisors, attributed the collapse to human error.
The site has been closed off, according to Sunday Olajide, the Ondo State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, pending investigation.
