Hassan Nasrallah’s and his likely successor Hashem Safiedine’s public funeral service was held in Beirut’s stadium in front of tens of thousands of mourners. During the 14-month conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike in September 2024.
