We’ve discovered a way to get the This Morning host’s stylish skirt for less than the price of her on-trend outfits.
Leopard print has dominated wardrobe trends for months now, but there’s a new king of the fashion jungle taking over the high street. Appearing on This Morning on Wednesday, September 17, Cat Deeley delivered a masterclass in how to wear it for autumn with a stunning sale pick.
The presenter wore a gorgeous French Connection Brandy Snakeskin PU Midi Skirt for the show, with the scaly pattern set to be a major theme in AW25 collections. It comes as 2025 is the Lunar New Year of the Snake, which has inspired a surge in snakeskin-themed fashion items, according to ASOS.
Usually £89 and still full price at French Connection, I’ve found a way to save money on Cat’s ensemble. The skirt is actually stocked at ASOS, too, where it’s currently on sale for £67 – and it’s available in all sizes from 6-16.

Cat’s skirt features a high waisted midi design that lends itself perfectly to being worn with knee high boots, but the 48-year-old instead opted to pair it with a black strappy heel. Styled by Rachael Hughes, she completed the look with a Reserved Ladies Sweater in dark brown, which costs £39.99.
Leather and faux leather have been gaining popularity among fashion experts this year, from Gok Wan to Mark Heyes. Cat’s skirt also ticks texture boxes, which is why not.

The print really is everywhere we look – and there are so many ways to wear it, from more statement-making options, to more subtle takes on the trend. As part of Marks and Spencer’s new AW25 collection, this Leather Snakeskin Print Jacket is a bold choice and comes in at £299. The striking design offers a relaxed fit for easy layering, with a smart collar and open front.
Nobody’s Child is a favourite among celebrities, and they’re offering this Snake Print Carla Midi Dress for £36 in the sale, down from £89, which offers an affordable way to tap into the trend. Coming with long puff sleeves and a scarf tie detailing, it’s a throw-on-and-go piece that will look perfect with a pair of suede boots.
But for those who would prefer to inject some snake print into their wardrobe with accessories instead, Next has these Snake Forever Comfort Chisel Toe Heeled Ankle Boots for £65, while designer brand Ganni has reimagined their iconic Bou Bag in a snake print for £395.
It’s not the only high street pick that Cat has sported this week, either. While the presenter is known for her love of luxury labels, today she wore a Yellow Utility Shirt Dress for £59 from River Island with some knee high boots, while on Monday, it was a Boden blouse for £79 that left fans swooning.
