As we kick off the first full week in the Love Island All Stars villa, one of our favourite parts is watching the contestants get glammed up in the brand new glam room. As well as being the perfect time to catch up on some gossip from the day, we also get a chance to learn some of their beauty secrets first hand.
It’s a great time to learn what products are essential for Islanders, whether it’s how they prepare their skin for a day spent at the pool or what goes into creating flawless makeup looks. The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Plumping Aqua-Fluid SPF30 Moisturiser, which is currently available for purchase at Boots, the official Love Island partner, is one of the well-stocked bathroom products we’ve seen.
A first look inside the new All Stars glam room and the debuting beauty lines at Love Island

You can currently purchase it for just £11.99, which is a great affordable option if you want skin that rivals the All Stars cast, but it’s typically only available for £15.99. The moisturiser contains ingredients that hydrate, plump, and protect your skin while reducing the appearance of aging by taking inspiration from Korean beauty products.
L’Oreal’s new Glass Skin line of products, which also includes a liquid cream and a glow-boosting mask inspired by K-beauty’s signature glass skin skincare routines, includes the Revitalift Filler Plumping Aqua-Fluid SPF30 Moisturiser. The moisturiser contains both macro and micro hyaluronic acids that penetrate through various skin layers to hydrate and plump it up from the inside out.
For an anti-ageing effect, this not only gives off a more youthful, healthy appearance but also helps to lessen fine lines and wrinkles. SPF30 is included in the Revitalift Filler Plumping Aqua-Fluid Moisturiser, which is essential for every day use, but especially if you spend hours in the Love Island villa in the shade of South Africa.
Other excellent moisturisers are available that produce comparable results, such as Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream, which is more expensive ($67 for a 50ml bottle). One person described a “very light liquid SPF moisturiser that quickly sinks into the skin.” No whitening residue on the skin due to hydrolysis. There is only a small amount of a strong smell in it, but otherwise it is okay.
However, one did offer some caution: “I tried this before I put my makeup on. There is no waiting for it to sink in or stickiness because it does so very quickly. However, I discovered that my makeup didn’t adhere to my makeup as well as it should and didn’t stay on as long as it should. When I’m not wearing makeup, I believe I will use it.
One person responded, “I wasn’t a huge fan of this. Even though it did reduce fine lines, afterwards my skin felt dry and tight. Given that I’ve had that problem before, I wonder if the spf was the one that caused my skin to dislike.
