Our beauty editor says I couldn’t believe how good these two new perfumes smell and look because a high street fashion label isn’t typically my first choice for fragrance.
There are no longer times when you have to spend a lot of money to purchase good perfume. There are many excellent, more affordable scents available today, from M&’s well-known £10 perfumes to The Body Shop’s new autumnal offerings, despite the fact that luxury fragrances frequently outperform in terms of complexity and longevity.
I must admit that high street fashion labels aren’t typically the first place I look for when purchasing a new fragrance, so when Kate Garraway recently wore them on GMB, I was unsure of what to expect when they announced they were starting a fragrance line.

Never Fully Dressed has begun with new scents that are priced at £69 (priced at £19), 10ml (£19), and little 2ml (£4), as well as luxury scented candles (£39).
NFD Eau De Parfum 001 is described as ‘a rich, sexy scent, made for golden hour’, with notes of bergamot, coffee, oud and vanilla’, while the brand calls NFD Eau De Parfum 002 ‘a fresh, fruity fragrance for the day’, featuring pink pepper, raspberry, jasmine and patchouli.
Before I could even smell the bottles, what struck me immediately was how gorgeous they are: they already appear much more expensive than they actually are and have serious dressing table appeal (the bottle design reminds me a little bit of Molton Brown’s £140 eau de parfums).
The 002 is the lighter, more wearable, and the one I predict will be the most well-liked because of how elegant and easy to wear summery it is. It’s a little bit fruity, sweet, and warm and sunny.
However, I’d pick 001 because it contains some of my favorite fragrance notes, like vanilla, tobacco, and coffee. I love this fragrance because it’s rich, seductive, and comforting without being overpowering (don’t let the oud off you, though), but it’s also sexy, and comforting. Although I haven’t smelled the candle, I bet that it creates a lovely evening or autumn scent.
I highly advise purchasing the 2ml or 10ml testers first if you don’t want to spend money on a full-size bottle. Overall, these two new releases have really impressed me, and they have given me a lot of new fashion brand scents. Next up on my list are Next’s Summer Sun ($10) and M&’s S Discover Sweet Pistachio Eau de Toilette ($10).
