Dickson Osajie, a security analyst, claims that the Nigerian military engages in political partisanship in its fight against terrorism.
Osajie made this statement on Monday during a Q&A interview on The Morning Brief.  ,
The Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force’s inability to overthrow the few terrorists, which he believes makes life difficult for the majority of Nigerians, is demoralizing to the country’s citizens.
“This conflict has spanned a very long period of political polarity within the Nigerian military.” Even though the United States Africa command was activated, the Americans must travel all the way from the country because it is so disturbing.
Following the US’s attack on ISIS terrorists’ bases in Sokoto State, he took his position.
In a joint Nigerian-US operation that targeted terrorists’ enclaves, the Federal Government reported that 16 GPS-guided precision munitions using MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial platforms were deployed.
You can’t have a conquer and abandon engagement against this terrorist group, says the security analyst, because what has been happening so far is simply because the Nigerian military has been carrying out what we call “conquer and abandon.”
He remarked, “Conquer and abandon in the sense that you don’t abandon any territory to these terrorist groups whenever you conquer it.” They will return and form groups when you leave such a territory.

He added, however, that these men are still pursuing air strikes against the environment in these locations.
